  1. Hi everyone! New to the forum here. 🙂 I’ve been looking everywhere for these Givi Racks to no avail…. Man! I would pay a fortune for these freaking things! Anyone had any luck with finding them?
  2. I have two cases which are scratched up, and I was wondering if anybody had ever refinished a black GIVI case and had lasting results. They are made of polypropylene. I was thinking of painting with flexible paint (like car bumpers) or covering with 3M film. Any input and ideas would be highly appreciated, or if the topic has been covered please point me to the relevant thread. Thanks
  3. I purchased a used pair of Honda panniers and mounting brackets for my 6th Generation VFR 800 but they came without the spacers that go between the pannier bracket and the passenger grab handle. Without these spacers the installation looks unfinished. I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for where or how I could purchase these two spacers (there is a left and a right hand version). My local Honda dealer couldn't seem to figure out how to get them for me. You can see the spacers in the pictures. Many thanks for any suggestions.
  4. Dear Members; I have unfortunately had to lay my bike down; albeit very slowly, to avoid inattentive drivers. As a result, my pannier covers have been quite scratched. I have tried to locate anyone in Brisbane, Australia that can do the work, and have been quoted $350 per side to strip and repaint my red covers. I would like to know if anyone else out there in VFR land has attempted to have this type of work done? If the option presents itself, I would consider shipping the covers elsewhere for quality work, and to hopefully save some money. The other option would be to replace the covers, but my local dealers are quoting $450/side!! As well, if anyone knows of an international resource for the covers, I would truly appreciate the feedback! Cheers. Matt.

    From the album: my VFRs

In June of 2012 I bought a set of Honda panniers - saddlebags, hard bags, luggage - from Honda of Bournemouth in the UK. My dealer couldn't get a white set from Honda Canada or any of the dealers they knew here or in the US. And American dealers that I contacted said the same - any colour but white. With all the taxes & duties they cost me ~$1300. After this summer's 7000 km trip to Laguna Seca, through heat & cold, dust & rain they were great. After 15 years using RKAccessories soft bags I am much happier.
