  1. Not sure if that helps but here you go
  2. I remember a friend had a similar problem. He bought a car battery and charger ran wire to the battery terminal disconnected all the lights and rode till the battery croaked then charged it up. Far from ideal but it would work I think.
  3. Replaced mine at 36k km man it sucks when they quit on you in the middle of no where.

    Givi V35

You don't need the top case rack to mount the V35 mounts. You'll just have a gap where the muffler mount that can be fixed with spacers that are supposed to be supplied with the kit...but failing that you can always try the local hardware store. I can take some pics when I get home to show you what I am talking about if I have enough time between packing and an oil change for the Summer Summit. Thanks man! pics would be a plus. I'd appreciate the pics as well! Well I don't know it this will work but you could also look in my gallery . DSC00069.JPG DSC00068.JPG

  8. Hey, Did you have any problems putting the left hand grip over the shrink tube and heat element? The guy at Dual Star said that I may have to use a "right side" hand grip on the left side because of the thickness of the shrink tube. Still waiting to take delivery on the heated hand grips. Thanks, Bliss I just installed the grips and did so with out the shrink tube. After about 15 minutes there was a difference of about 4 degrees 107.5 to 111. The left side was hotter with out the shrink. I think with the shrink it would get way to hot. The bars are steel and I think they tell you that shrink tube is for aluminum bars. All I did was wrap the filament on and shumck the grip on with epoxy. Use rubbing alcohol to clean up the epoxy before it cures.
  9. I too am about to install grip warmers. Could you post a few pics of the throttle grip and area. I was just curious how you ran the wires and how you dealt with that grip ring on the throttle barrel. Thanks

  12. These are the Givi v35 with plx166 fitment kit. I really like them. If you want more detailed pictures of the mounting I have them just let me know. DSC00068.JPG DSC00069.JPG
  13. I am going to by a pair of leather pants and after trying on a pair of JR Blaster 2.0's I was wondering where should the knee armor sit when standing. On these pants when upright they armor was below the knee cap. When on a bike it was on the knee cap (barely) . But my thinking is that I am not going to be sitting when I need the armor. So what are the opinions ? Where should your kneepads sit ? Thanks
