Kinda of an idea.... Break the budget into quarters... say this 1st quarter is $500..that would seen to be a more attainable number over the annual number. 

Then once a quarter.. .send out a call out thread to fill up the budget for the quarter. I would be happy to kick in quarterly to get to fill out the budget for that quarter. 

Another idea, youll probably barf on this one, knowing your history, but add a sponsor tab, where you sell squares to paid sponsors. We would access only by clicking the tab. 

Its definately more work, but you could get some bucks out of it, and we would get discounts from the sponsors. Of course there is always the possiblity of a legal entanglement, with a sponsor not delivering as they should...... just brainstorming... 

Lastly if you decide to chuck it, as with last time, a group of us are fine to take it on if want to pass the torch.

Hey looking great! Dude, those K&N filters with the welded nut on the end have a history of metal fatigue at the spot weld and cracking, then leaking. 

There's plenty of info on the net about it, and I am sure some members here have experienced it first hand. 

Plz consider an alternate. 

Cogs -- Would love to see a build it thread of your 5/6th conversion..

Aside the obvoius engine differences, the 6th frame has thicker sections and therefore stiffer and also the front forks are 43mm and stiffer as well. 

That is why some guys have installed a 5th engine in a 6th gen.

Thanks for the heads up on Custom Rewind. Great news! I did a 5th gen a couple years back with extended leads and its working great. I am running the Furukawa connnectors direct on the extended leads so there is no intermediate connection..... Also I have another on the bench to do. Gonna get that one done too to have on hand. 

Comparing how the bikes run and ride, what do you think between the two?

Just for clarification..... I did know that the 6th wheel is the same as a 5th, but to use the 6th in the 5th, use the 5th spacers?
