Most Beautiful! That is definately the top resto viffer award! Calender shot? Absolutely!
-
Very cool... beautiful bike...

Doing some slack time with a Becks Dark..... Still like that shield....and still purty after all these years.

Well --- I have six seasons on my Frankenviffer lite. The bike is such a pleasure to ride, and is probly one of sweetest bikes I ever owned with absolutely the most "soul" to it.
And all the mods just contribute to the feeling of it. Also part of it is a satisfaction thing, a dozen sets of a problem/mods and I had to be a bit creative to figure it out. Each problem required something unique and the final result ended up something special.
Ok, its obvious. I love this bike!

Six seasons later - I love my brakes! (SP-2)

Six seasons on the bike. And this reservoir and bracket is a favorite detail that I built and works well.

This reservoir and bracket setup is one of my favorite details on the bike. It took me a long time and 5 or 6 fabrication trys to get it to look right. Great setup!

Six seasons later. Changed out the pads, R&R and bleed job. Still works perfectly.
-
Working on version 3.0 - a couple tweeks here and there - take some material out of it for weight reduction and I originally missed adding the thickness of the reflector bracket to the top mount boss. I couldnt figure out for the longest time why the low mount was perfect and the top one was short. Drove me crazy.
It hit me silly once I figured it out. Doh!

Brake light pressure switch crapped out, figured out how the use the stock switch with some finagling. Horn has been ditched for something louder and mounted elsewhere.
Still like the FZ1 Yamaha manifold for the brake hoses. Trouble free and works well. Some guys have mentioned - "Oh, your gonna have trouble bleeding that and air will stick in the bridge and not move." - But its just hooey. Bleeds fine no problem. Would do it again. Beats bleeding the linked system anyday.

Awesome! Beautifull! -- That 700 Nighthawk I came very close to buying one when they first came out.. At the time I was intrigued with the V4 and went for a Sabre instead.
I would love to pick up a clean Nighthawk today!

Full rear shot - I really like how tight the carbon pipe tucks in to the side.
