  3. Wheres that video from the GoPro?
  4. Nice work :fing02: All hand work or you running a CNC to help? I worked as a CNC repair tech for 7 years before I headed in to the Nuclear field. Saw some amazing things come out of blocks of metal.
  5. Checked Google street view, looks like a 2 way road, but very cool
  6. Did mine on Monday, no big deal to swap but ya price is dumb, I bet its a one off deal only for the VFR. Filter replaced at 55,000/kms".
  7. 660 looks nice :fing02: I'm thinking about swapping out my 450 in the new year. But may hold out and see if they bring out a 660 with with SiriusXM like the 550. Everyone I have every talked too questions why Garmin dropped this.
  8. WOW I knew you guys in the US got some good pain meds but damn...
  9. Too bad we just didn't have a 7th gear  a slab only gear, for those runs to and from the twisties, easy way to up the mileage
  10. ICE info is great, but the other thing everyone should have is direct contact info for the other people they are riding with. This came up at T-mac this year with me. Went out alone on Friday after following some one else back to the Hotel with a sick bike. At the time it never even clued in to me to have some one else's number incase something happened to me. Well after being gone for 5 hours having a heck of a good ride and getting new tires I got back to the hotel around 7pm Friday night to find out the local Sheriff was called to check if any riders had gone down, because a few people where worried about me. It did cross my mind to call the hotel and leave a message but like Kevin was saying, we know everyone by a screen name and maybe a first name, but to even get a last name and remember it. But I guess I could have called and just had that very nice young lady at the front desk and had her just pass a message on to some one and hopefully it would have got passed to the right person. Hind sight is 20/20 right? So from now on, I'll make sure I've got a number for at least one person I'm riding with, incase I get separated again.

  12. I've put about 75miles on the bike since I've added the new pegs. I really like it, however it does feel like a there is a little more weight on my arms now. Not sure if thats the case or its from not being on the bike for 4 months thanks to a little thing called winter
  13. Took about 5 mins to swap it out... Before After My right knee is now about 2inchs lower than before However they are not a 100% fit, the VFR peg has an 8mm hole for pin, the Buel has an 11mm hole. So there is a little play, I added the extra washer and that seemed to tighen everything up nicely, however if you fold the peg up the spring does not pull the peg 100% back down in to place. But once in place it holds it there with no issue. I may still take a file to it, as the casing is not that clean on some of the edges.
