What a fantastic bike. Swap on a set of Y2K mirrors and it'd be perfect ;-)
-
It looks like a beautiful morning for a ride. And the bike ain't too shabby either.

I love Yosemite, and cannot wait to get back. A few years ago we crossed Tioga Pass on July 4th and the temperature was right at freezing!
-
Great collection of VFRs at one of the better riding areas in Oregon.
-
Can't be California with a lake that full ;-P
Great end-of-the-day shot.
-
I should note that from St Mary west to Logan Pass, pictured behind the VFR, there was 9 + miles of road work - enough that TKC80 would be a better tire choice ;-) Dunno if they'll finish before winter closure.
The clouds look threatening but by West Glacier the sun had reappeared.
More to come…

I was was at that spot *exactly* two weeks before you. Just as sunny, but minus the white stuff. Fantastic place.
-
Any shot that makes you want to ride there is great. This one also compliments both bike and scene.
-
Lovely photo. The silver wheels look so much better than black, as on my '98.
-
Hey, Kananaskis, right? I was just through there a week ago.
-
Great bike, beautiful scene. But all I can think about is how it'd look with white wheels ;-P

Hi Rich,
Lovely photo. Monitor Pass is one of my favourite rides in California, nicely curved and with beautiful scenery all the way. One day I'd like to ride it back & forth till I run dry.
Btw, I bet it was a bit warmer than your June trip.
-
Very nice. Methinks the '14 VFR could use a few more graphics.
-
Nice photo, BC.
The straps are what RKAccessories supplied to attach their 47 litre soft panniers. It was the best mounting system I've seen for soft saddle bags.
-
Your rwb looks fantastic with white wheels. Yeah, keeping 'em clean can be a pain in the ass but it transforms that bike's appearance.
-
Thanks, all.
I almost certainly shot it with my Nikon F3 + 50mm f/1.4 on slide film.
-
It sure looks like you're enjoying the ride.
Btw, the VTec looks great in silver.
-
What an awesome looking bike, Kel.
-
Lovely shot. Is that on Hwy 97 near Wasco, Ore?
-
Yep, I was there only a month ago and can't wait to get back. Fantastic views, great pavement, and a good mix of medium and fast curves. Add a coffee bar at the bottom and it'd be perfect ;-)
-
Thanks for featuring this shot. I've been over Monitor Pass a number of times over the years.
Very nice shot. Know that area well. Did you ride down from Canada?
Yep, April 25 four of us left Victoria for a 2-week tour of California. I'm working on a write-up of the trip, just have to sort out some more photos.

Packed light, huh?
Hwy 12 is a lovely stretch of highway.
-
That looks fantastic. Where is it?

That's another of Utah's great motorcycling roads - iconic vista + curvy pavement. And on of the besets VFRs. Quite sporting to let the camera bike pass you ;-P

Great spot - innit?
