Just a short clip of the adventure out to Custer.

And one of the last mornings ride.

 

Ken goes down for a nap.

Aubrie and Matt decided to take one as well.

I'm not sure what service he was offering.

It was a great day. Thanks to all who attended. Can't think of a better way to end a week long trip than with one more ride.

I arrived home about 10:30 last night. Got in one last day of riding with the gang around the world famous Dragon. Didn't get a lot of pics because there wasn't much stopping.

Loaded up on Sunday and left Tennessee around 4:00.

Rolling into South Dakota. MiniCarver haulin a trailer like a Boss. He won the fuel consumption award with a tank used in 167 miles.

Apparently the ToroCharger speeds up the aging process.

And takes the soles off your boots

Had a request from KanadianKen to find Radar and give him a hug. I think I was set up.

One last ride Friday morning before loading up. We caught rush hour traffic. We tiptoed for a couple of miles. Must have been 250 of them.

We drove straight through on the return. 3:00 am and we're still all smiles.

Less than an hour after arriving home and with only two hours of sleep, he was in the garage working.

 

Thank you to Toni for the effort you put in to an awesome event and to the Carver's for making it possible for me to attend. It was an EPIC week!

I've got some video but may be a bit before I can host it to share.

Currently traversing the flats at redonkulous speeds. Pics later. For now...it was EPIC!

I sent a PM to Josh / Tightwad this morning to see if he has a stator, regulator and gasket available for a 2007 VFR.

Could be bad battery - but was replaced this year.

It’s not a VFR gathering unless someone has electrical issues. We spent the last couple of hours riding twenty minutes and swapping batteries to get mine to the hotel this spring. Turned out to be burned wires between the stator and r/r. Back on the road in about an hour thanks to Todd.

Add me to the list of satisfied customers.  Just ordered a little over $200 worth of parts for the CB500x and got a little over 15%. On top of that, Keith is really easy to deal with.  The new prices were only a couple of bucks more than the used fleabay stuff.

I looked at it while I put the new shoes on the cb500x. I got new shoes for the VFR, just have to have them mounted.

Take the SP and your head.... First track day shouldn't lead to any problems if you take the right tools.

Dirt bike grips are often much soft but don’t last as long. I have SuperBike grips that I like. I take an old bicycle tube and glue a layer to the bar before installing my grips. The extra grip diameter suits me.
