The NR500 was the first and you can slip in the 1983 RS850R/RS920R and RS750R in between the FWS and VF1000R. https://force-v4.co.uk/hondas-racing-v4s/
  2. Thanks! Sorry for the slow response.
  3. The larger wheels and black frame hides some bulk and makes the bike look visually smaller. Great work! 👍
  4. Front and rear hubs were custom made in house. The hub bolts are oem but the outer rim bolts are titanium. And no, it wasn’t cheap.
  5. I like the look of the stock rims but not the sizes. So I swapped the rear 3.5" rim to the front and had a 17" x 5' rim made for the rear.
  6. No, they were machined from billets.
  7. Neither! My brother and I are building an FWS1000 replica. I've started a blog but there's not a lot of content on there at the moment. I'll keep updating as we progress along https://fws1000replica.com/
  8. Hi guys, just thought I’d show you a fun little project I've been working on. I’ve designed and had made some custom carb caps and bowls like those of an RC30 that feature removable ports to make jetting changes a little easier. They came out well and bling up the carbs nicely.
  9. Hi Trooper, can I ask about that screen? Is it from another model bike or specific to that fairing? Cheers, Don
  10. Hi guys,Those of you that have had your liners re-bored, did you remove them for machining or had them machined still installed in the block? If you had the choice, which is the better/more accurate method?Regards,Don
  11. Thanks Craig. Yes, the angle of the valves in relation to the cylinder axis is what I was after. Thanks for the confirmation. Regards, Don
  12. Thanks Craig. I can't see it in the factory manual so hopefully the Clymer might.
  13. Hi guys, new member from Sydney Australia here. I was wondering if anyone knows or has literature on what the included valve angle is on these machines? I have a vague memory that it is 38 degrees but can't confirm it.
