Mine is garaged, and dry use only. Which means permanently garaged living in the U.K. ?

So the issue has returned for my VFR despite the screen being replaced under warranty. I did question at the time with Honda whether simply replacing the screen would resolve the issue given the moisture much be within the dash unit. Have raised my concerns with Honda, and my expectations that despite now being out of warranty that they resolve this seeing as they didn't get it right the first time... we shall see. Anybody else still having issues??

Oh... And the tree I planted in my petrol tank...

Dark tink DB screen. Looks the part, and deflects all the wind that was whistling round my chin :) That and the Honda rear hugger.

Screen removal / replacement instructions
MrTeeHee replied to MrTeeHee's topic in Eighth Generation VFR's
Difference in airflow is significantly better. I have always run stock screens on previous bikes, but the 'bubble' on my Powerbronze screen takes away all the buffeting I was experiencing 70mph+. Question of rider height to an extent I guess... I'm 6'0. Plus I liked the dark tint on black ? -

And WulfVFR... opps... the instructions were a help, but in the end an element of 'trial by error' was required... -

Thanks WulfVFR. Reckon on that's probably saved me ££££ in broken fairing parts :) -
Apologies for the dumb ass question... taken delivery of new dark tint Powerbronze screen. Have started looking / removing bolts from the inner panel, but some of the plastics look nicely connected together, and reluctant to force... There is mention in the double-bubble screen thread re: screen fitting / removal instructions on here... can someone direct me please? Thanks

Anyone Experienced This Seat Lock Problem?
MrTeeHee replied to TheGoldTooth's topic in Eighth Generation VFR's
I've had the same problem. I had to turn turn the key harder than I wanted to get the lock to disengage with the seat. Since then, it turns but with more resistance than I'd like. I'm sure the seat used to 'pop up' as well when the key was turned. Are others spring loaded? Might've this is the issue? -
for Kriega US20. Awesome bit of kit, and doddle to fit. Check out the attached 100k mile review Make that 10k miles!

Honda one looks ideal. Want to keep the lines of the bike clean... as well as the shock. Shall place an order... Cheers guys

Any folk out there fitted a hugger to their Viffer, and if so which one? Looking at ordering the Honda after market version, but want to get an idea how it looks fitted. Anybody fitted one? Cheers

Image (hopefully :?) attached. Thanks folks. Local Honda dealer reviewed photos (and I took a few) and looking to replace clocks under warranty. Not something i've ever experienced with a Honda... :/ Thanks for the feedback. Now to go and work out what this orangey thing in the sky is...

From the album: MTH
Condensation / moisture build up within the dash unit :( Honda warranty claim and new clocks on order... :) -
Has anybody else experienced moisture trapped within the dash? Mine is fine when cold, but an hour or so riding in the sun Ivey moisture build up behind the clear plastic housing :(. If I leave it on the side stand it 'drains' across the screen towards the fuel gauge side of the display. V annoying. I'd post a photo if I knew how :/

Kinda where I'm at... checked out a few YouTube reviews, and the Akro does sound sweet. If nothing else, a good way to kill a few hours / days / weeks on eBay
-
Mmmm bit an 'if it ain't broke don't fix' it kind of person. Only really the sound that does it for me... and maybe a little extra bhp..? Guessing the difference in power is almost impossible to notice. Maybe just leave it for now and see how I get on with it once it arrives

Hi all New to the group, and just waiting on delivery of an 'as new' VFR800F. Having owned a '96 VFR750FV, I regretted the day I sold it. Been through a Blackbird and a couple of Blades since, but now feel the calling of a VFR again, and the new one is just so sweet. Been interesting reading the reviews on the forum... Anyway - point of post is to gauge opinion around changing the stock exhaust for the Honda recommended Akropovic. Found a good quality second hand one, but without having had the chance to live with the new arrival and it's 'standard' setup , on the fence as to whether it is worth the money? Cheers MrTeeHee
