  2. The other problem with the gel, is that it gets really, really hot if you park your bike in the sun. This I learned the hard way, or shall I say "How would you like your nuts and cheeks, rare, medium, or well done" The gel not only gets hot but retains that heat with little heat loss for hours after.   4. And we all know practice makes perfect and being the perfectionist I am I practice everyd..... oops
  5. I dunno why it didn't work the first time but, followed the same instructions as above with a buddy, first, before removing plastics, and out it came. Oh we did remove the U shaped bracket first.
  6. I removed the rear wheel and had the swingarm lifted as far as it would go, it seemed as if the bottom of the shock could by no means clear the Cat. Does yours have the Cat? Is it a 2000/2001 model. Rich
  7. Didn't work for me just spent 3 hrs on it only to find the Cat stops the shock from slipping out. Am I right in saying you have a Catless VFR?
