Brings a smile to my face every time I see that view. Thanks for showing us where it's at Brian.

Nice rack on the back...any idea if you can still get those?

Some major fabrication in process here and a few mysteries..I can see where the foot peg would go in the new bracket but wonder what the story is on the tank. I recall seeing another project with a rectangular header collector but this is different...wonder how that works?

Hi Rich..we'll take any extra snow you can spare on our side of the Sierras. Most of the lakes over here are meadows.

Kind of funny, like I said it was my first time.
It was Jolon to Mission, got lost a little around the Fort Hunter Ligget gate, got real worried seeing a blocked bridge that looked like it went where I wanted to go but found a road that crossed a dried up river ... if El Nino kicks in, I'd need to find a different route.

Laurales Grade runs from Laguna Seca to Carmel Valley Rd so WSBK may be a good combo. Spring works too.
This was my first time on the road...getting to know this area a bit more.

Thanks didit,
It's a blessing to have a place to ride when the snow chases you out of the mountains.
Thanks Brian...be cool to check this out some time:

They sort of look happy all down the line.
-
Awesome shot...looks like a wake of twisted pavement beneath your rear wheel.
-
That is really nice...never been there but your pic makes it clear why folks go.
-
Nah...IPA has no impact above 3000 feet.
-
64 oz of 8% of ice cold micro brew IPA for the 2 campers ..dreams do come true.
-
Heh, my physical therepist did NOT prescribe that while recovering from the broken wrist...what's up with that? Take it easy Brian, the collective awaits your return. Can't be California with a lake that full ;-P
BTW rode this whole ride (36 miles) without touching the left handgrip, torn wrist ligaments and all. Yay DCT.
