    Bought the rear 8-spoke approx. 5 years ago via seller on ebay. Just now using it for the first time. I believe the 8-spoke rears are off of 3rd or 4th gen VFR's (someone correct me or confirm this). Mark

    I (my wife) painted the letters using a paint pen (see link below). The paint pens I used before (sold by Harley Davidson) stayed on the tire 5-6000 miles, but they are no longer available. Found these and they look the same. http://www.uchida.com/p-27-decocolor-acrylic.aspx You want Yellow 315-5. Thanks, Mark

    Bought this 8-spoke rim approx. 4 years ago. Previous owner had cleaned it up and had it professionally powder coated. It has never been on my bike. So for the up-coming Summit (2012) I thought what better time than the meet to mount it up (with a new Mich. PP). See you all at the Summit. Mark (ki-speed).

    Nice shot. I remember the first time I was in CA. During the floods of 1995 (Feb). Drove at night in the fog from Thousand Oaks south on 23 (Decker rd.) down to PCH. Wow! What a trip. The next time I drove it on a clear day I thought I was lucky I did not drive off a cliff. Rode my VFR out to CA in 2005 and 2006. Then on the Goldwing in 2010. Can't get too much of CA for great riding.
