    The washers prove the concept, now get some aluminum bar stock and make proper spacers.

    When you go to welding on the gas tank, make dang sure you have fully purged the tank with argon and have a continuous purge while welding. Don't ask how I added an extra half gallon to my "last" tank :biggrin:
