My fork seals were leaking, so I ended up with an 07 cbr1000rr front end. . . -
It was tough. . . Not quite the highest point in Florida, but definitely one of the higher points in the Everglades. Apparently it actually counts as a significant geological feature for the area. -

Somehow, it ended up white when I picked it up. I need some pictures with the tank painted too, and would love to add a belly pan if anyone has suggestions for similar sized bikes that have one. -

I turned around and went back after I saw that sign. . . -
So. . . I was thinking how little sense it made to do this with a VFR (especially with all the plastic and mirrors) and it occured to me that 'it's heavy' and 'there are plenty of cheaper, lighter bikes' are decent arguments against it. . . but they are decent arguments against taking one to the track too. . . just saying. . . -

Just ditch all the plastic. I've got very little buffeting up to . . . well, 90 or so. I won't talk about any more than that because I haven't been on a track. All my bike has is a single round headlight. I had a jacket that caused a lot of buffeting for a while. I used to think it was that bike, but it was definitely the jacket. I think I read some helmet reviews somewhere that said they were usually quiter on unfaired bikes. . .
