Probably because no self respecting VFR owner would subject his/her bike to such abuse...

Or because Gixxers are much cheaper, lighter, and easier to find. :fing02:

It's featured because it is definitely a unique VFR picture. A VFR is a heavy bike to stunt with. I can't imagine ever trying to do something like this with my bike. As long as you're in a wide open parking lot with permission of the owner and not on the street I say have at it! You should be allowed to do whatever crazy thing you want with your bike and body as long as you are no danger to others. I've seen some amazing stunt riders before. They are phenomenally skilled riders in their own fashion. :-)

I'm with you on this one, his bike his body. A friend of mine is a stunter and has crazy skillz, funny tho... he doesnt care much for the corners but has no problem doing a 100+mph wheelie.

And before someone jumps on that comment...it was at the race track and he was part of the entertainment. :fing02:

Don't care for stunts like that. I think they are not too smart and continue to project the wrong image for motorcyclists.

So. . . I was thinking how little sense it made to do this with a VFR (especially with all the plastic and mirrors) and it occured to me that 'it's heavy' and 'there are plenty of cheaper, lighter bikes' are decent arguments against it. . . but they are decent arguments against taking one to the track too. . .

just saying. . .

I have nothing nice to say about this and have no idea why it is featured.

It gets more comments than most featured photos.

At first I thought it was Baileyrock :fing02: ....then I am thinking...now where did he get a red one?

What would be great is this guy doing this on a demo ride/test ride....the owner/dealer may get a slight queasy feeling.

I featured it because I was struck about how odd anybody would use a vfr to stunt with? Parking lot with lots of room and not on the street with traffic so its about as under control as most exibitions, dangerous yes, but so is riding in general. I dont have the skill to do stunts so I admire that, but I dont have the desire either to do it. This is not a glorification of stunting its just unusual for this bike to see it used in that manner, but we own our bikes for different reasons.
