Member Contributer wrestler 36 Posted February 1, 2011 John (OH6pearlvfr) actually took these pics and sent them to me. I couldn't figure out how to get his name under the pic. So they are posted by me but taken by John. I agree. Pretty sweet. That's my old bike (Matt1986VF500f now owns it). My steed in in the other sweet pic. Thanks for the compliments, guys!!! Guest daemontrym Posted February 1, 2011 I made a couple passes through there when I was stationed at Ft. Campbell, I miss the roads there!! At least in Az we have canyons and mountains to handle my fix. Quote Link to comment
Member Contributer banderso 0 Posted February 2, 2011 Up to Tellico Plains and across the Cherahola Sunday. Let me rephrase that... hahah Up to Tellico Plains and attempted to cross the Cherohala Mostly good road conditions up from GA, 515/60/68, some dampness on the shaded areas, but nothing to really slow you down. Past Tellico Plains upwards to 4000', pretty nice. Started to see some snow on the side of the road, no biggie, motor on. Once into Graham Co, though , things begin to change. Snow begins to creep into the roadway where ever the road is shaded. On and on, road is progressivley covered with snow and ice, until we come across a young lady on a Ducati hypermotard, on her side. Oops, probably best we turn around. So.... almost across... bill Quote Link to comment
