Member Contributer VF1000RS 42 Posted May 3, 2008 Still a work in progress. The RC51 spring is too soft and will be changed. I have only ridden it around the block at this stage since the countershaft sprocket is spaced with washers for the CBR900RR 5.5" rear wheel and 180/55 tire. Waiting to install the offset countershaft sprocket and the RC51 front end. Just rebuilt the RC forks with stiffer springs and modified the lower triple. Almost ready. Once it all works, then I`ll make it pretty. The Akrapovic muffler was meant for a ZX10R and it`s mated to a Holeshot 4-1 header. Quote Link to comment

Important is that muffler carries the "E-approval" markings.... only a very determined cop would run the accompanying number to check if the muffler is homologated for my 4th gen..
