bmv 5 Posted December 4, 2009 That is NICE! Your brother does some great work. And I love the left exit pipe, wish mine had one. I also like the height of the windscreen. Cheers, Mike Quote Link to comment

Cheers, Mike One of the many bene's of having a brother who works for Sherwin Williams! I did all of the graphics in Illustrator and had them output to laser cut vinyl at a local graphics supply house - Charette in Boston. The hardest part was the break down and reassemble. That was back in '96 when vendor's still actively supported the VFR - 2Bros had a ton of products for the mighty veefer. I was even able to get a stage II kit for it - unheard of these days. The windscreen is a Puig - had to order it out of Spain back in 2002 or so. I went through 3 lockharts (breakage around mounting holes), then I heard great things about Puig. The thing is THICK - near stock thick. And great quality as well. 7 years and still going strong. Thanks for kind words. Steve Quote Link to comment

Identifying it is the easy part - getting it replicated might be a bit more tricky. It's 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Competition Yellow. Plain and simple - out of the can stock. Beautiful color indeed. I have a ton of friends who thought I was crazy when I told them I was going from black to yellow. I think they were envisioning highlighter yellow or some such. But once they saw it their jaws dropped. A good auto paint distributor should be able to research the color codes on this and reproduce it. Good luck to you! Steve Quote Link to comment
