How do you find clearance for the piggyback reservoir on the CBR shock ? Is there a discernible difference in ride ? How easy/difficult is it to adjust the CBR shock in the VFR frame ?

Thanks.

The reservoir sits about 3/4" above the header pipes.... no problem on clearance.

I have put a 1.5" spacer between the top mount yoke and the frame because the VFR shock is 1.5" longer than the CBR929RR shock. The spring rates are the same (16.1 kg/mm) and the damping rates are quite nice. The adjusters are accessable when the bike's together.

The 929 shock has compression and rebound damping adjustments. It has the same spring rate and mounting configuration as the 5th gen also.
