Member Contributer Birdman 0 Posted March 15, 2007 Nice action shots. If that's you on the red VFR, I imagine you easily passed that rider in front of you a few seconds later. Then eventually lapped him. :goofy: Quote Link to comment
Member Contributer VFRbeliever 9 Posted March 15, 2007 Looks like the ground clearance on the VFR is quite a bit lower than the front bike! Maybe it's just an optical illusion. Quote Link to comment
Guest matt_c Posted March 15, 2007 Thats one of those racing VFR's! Ive heard of those, there supposed to be really fast! :D Quote Link to comment
Baileyrock 842 Posted March 15, 2007 Nice shot! You look to have the same problem I have, which is Not hanging off the bike enough! Even though it looks cool, the instructor in front of you has the more ideal body position with most of his body and head below the center line of the bike and the reduced lean angle of the bike because of it. You will be much faster & safer keeping the bike at less of a lean angle by hanging off more. This leaves you a much greater safety margin and more left over lean angle if ever needed! Keep it up! Quote Link to comment
Guest Tori Posted March 16, 2007 Yep, your right. This was my first track day,.... just a couple weeks ago. I got some personal instruction, and they said the same thing you just did. The VFR is much lower than the real sport bikes. I was scraping the body work, my toes, and the header on the right side. B) Quote Link to comment
