tob 1 Posted April 2, 2005 Slammer, Tanks for Your nice comments. My part in roadmc.com is only as a rider. Terje Enge is the webmaster and should have all the credits for the site. He still has some nice footage from last summers roadmc-trip that has not been published yet, but he hasn't got the time to edit them for the site. Glad You enjou the videos, there is more to come. tob Quote Link to comment
Member Contributer The mailman 259 Posted April 24, 2005 Very nice videos. Edited nicely with front and rear views blending and the sound remaining constant. What type of video equipment are you using? I have not made the switch to digital video yet and would want a similar package. I liked vid #2 best but did I hear a peg scrape almost at the end of #3? Nice riding. Quote Link to comment

vfr781 1 Posted April 26, 2005 Great vids! I am assuming the yellow was a European option for the 4th gens. Do you have to dodge sheep very often? What I like about the videos the most is you can show someone how cool the earlier Viffers sound when you are riding. Was the camera on a 4th gen also? Jeff Quote Link to comment

tob 1 Posted April 28, 2005 Hi from Norway. I've been travelling for almost a week and hasn't been able to login before now. Thanks for the nice comments. My 4th gen is now starting on its tenth season, and according to my mechanic; good as new. I've gathered all my answers here. The video equipment is described on this website: http://www.roadmc.com/default.asp?pubid=53...2&pub=1&labb=US , and yes, there is a peg scraping somewhere. The Yellow whas my own idea in 1996 after a couple of near death experiences on the then black VFR. Had a friend repaint it in Yellow to be more visible in traffic. When I had the bike to the shop for regular service shortly after, they photographed it and sent the photos to Honda in Japan. The 5th gen came with the same color in 98 in Europe. I'm not saying the fifth gen came in yellow because of my bike, but it has exactly the same color. Sheep can be a problen, but we haven't got any incidents yet. The camera bike was a 4th gen with slip on from G&G Bike, the same as on my 4th gen. Quote Link to comment
Guest Goose Posted April 28, 2005 Great vids! Love the sound of the exhaust and gear driven cams. What rides/videos do you have planned for this year? Quote Link to comment
tob 1 Posted April 28, 2005 We've had our yearly "road-stop" last weekend, and have decided this years trip to start in south-western Norway, from Lysebotten via Stavanger up the coastal road north to Floroe. This area has not been travelled by RoadMC before. The roads are mostly lots of corners, but narrow at places. We have not detaled the routes yet, but hopefully You can view them on the site in october or later. Our "propellerhead" is overloaded with tasks and he does not know when he can edit the footage for publishing. In fact there are still two routes from last year that haven't been published yet.
