Member Contributer maxredline Posted August 31, 2018 Member Contributer Share Posted August 31, 2018 I am looking at a 4th gen today. The bikes now are getting long in the tooth and parts availability are not what they were ( dah..I know). Where is everyone finding their parts other than EBay. I was looking up exhaust and haven't found much. I have been searching but any info would be appreciated! Cheers
Member Contributer FromMaine Posted August 31, 2018 Member Contributer Share Posted August 31, 2018 For tires and the odd generic bits I use Riders Domain. Tires especially are priced well. https://www.ridersdomain.com/?msclkid=858421ff4c9110f322d77a768d9c73eb&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Riders Domain Brand&utm_term=riders domain&utm_content=Riders Domain For common, still available Honda parts, I use DiscountHondaparts.com. https://www.discounthondaparts.com/oemparts/c/honda_motorcycle/parts For harder to find NLA parts, I use cmsnl.com. They have quite a lot of NOS parts. Not cheap as they are based in Holland, but hey, they may actually have that part you are looking for. https://www.cmsnl.com/honda_model8286/ For the stuff that is truly, truly just impossible to find, I use David Silvers Spares. They are based in England, but have a huge store of used parts for Hondas, as that's all they do. They opened a shop up in the US recently, which I have not used yet. https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/ And for the esoteric and really stupidly hard stuff to find, I use ts-parts-jp, based in Japan. You have to check often as they add and sell stuff pretty quick. Sometimes the prices are really cheap, sometimes you have to contemplate taking out a second mortgage on the house, they are all over the show. They are on E-bay as a seller and a store, but it took me years to find them. https://www.ebay.com/str/tspartsjapan I have had good experiences with all these companies. Lastly, use the Board. I have gotten a number of parts from members here, and have been grateful for their efforts. If you can't find it elsewhere, post up in classifieds. Good luck. BTW, hope you buy the 4th gen, they are great bikes. :+)
