Cable Routing

Hi again folks. I'm making good progress with my Fi/VTEC project, but am unsure, thanks to overwriting my disassembly photos, about the routing of the various cables etc; I'd like to make sure I get this sort of thing right whilst access is still reasonable.

I could really do with photos and/or a description of how the following cables are routed through the bike, and where the sheathed harness connectors reside on the bike in relation to the frame/forks/horn/airbox etc.

- Generator cable.

- Kill switch assembly cable.

- Headlight switch assembly cable.

A little help would be great!

Hi Loftus, here are links to the 5G and 6G service manuals. Cable routing is helpfully well covered in the early chapter with lots of diagrams.

I literally could not ask for better than this - thank you!!! This is really helpful.

I wouldn't want to be the chap who had to draw all those pictures...
