Blake
Has anyone taken out the threaded rod on the rear brake master cylinder? It attaches to the turn buckle. Just thought I could take it out to cut it for the lowering blocks. Or replace it just in case I screw things up. Just a thought.

Blake
Fink I guess my question is can it be removed or is it part of the master cylinder itself.
Member Contributer Egg on Leggs Posted January 2, 2017 Member Contributer Share Posted January 2, 2017 I hope have just done the seals on my Gen 6, the rod is held into the MC by a circlip. Removing the circlip also releases the piston meaning a drake fill and bleed on refitting.
