Member Contributer NVR2L8 Posted November 18, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted November 18, 2016 Has anyone loosened the jam nuts and adjusted the length of quick shifter? Is it even adjustable for pedal up/down height?
thecat
Yes. Loosen jam nuts and turn the rod to move the shift pedal up or down. There's a flat section in the middle of the rod that fits a metric 8 scanner iirc. Could be a 10! A half to 3/4 turn either way is enough to get a good feeling for yourself. I had mine tipping down an inch or so lower than the footpeg. Cheers
Katastrophe18
Not to thread jack, but has anyone observed if you can actually take the rod and sensor off and turn it around 180? I ask this because I like a reverse shift pattern and I can see that by buying the QS, I can do that. However, because it only works in one direction (push-type IIRC), I can't have both QS and reverse shift...it would be one or the other. Thanks!
