FZ / MT 10- an alternative to a VFR?

I know its a sporty naked bike and an inline 4 but it does sound like a V4 with lots of mid-range grunt and has panniers as an option as well as a comfort seat that looks worthy of a passenger. It also has LED headlights like the 8th gen :)

So ... I was wondering if anyone has tried one and if so why their thoughts were.

This bike has definitely caught the eye of at least a few of the VFRD crew. Dutchy and a couple others had some early thoughts here:

Yes I think the Z10 could be a nice relacement (though the FJ-09 might be better). Possitives would be more power, better handling, brakes with modern styling. Conns that I can think of would be more expensive to insure, gas milage, rear seat is small, and wind protection.

knowing that all motorcycles are a compromize I still have not found one better for me than the 2001 VFR. Having said that a second bike would be nice also.
