Member Contributer Nelix Posted April 11, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted April 11, 2016 Hi guys and gals, are there any alarms available that are purely plug and play with no need to cut into the wiring?

Member Contributer fink Posted April 11, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted April 11, 2016 Thought that was a reasonable price for a decent alarm that simply plugs in.
Member Contributer Nelix Posted April 11, 2016 Author Member Contributer Share Posted April 11, 2016 Already the immobiliser, so really just alarm function needed, buy will have a think about it. Member Contributer fink Posted April 11, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted April 11, 2016 I would strongly advise against it. I had some one with one fitted to a scooter that gave him no end of trouble. Took it out no problems. Member Contributer Nelix Posted April 11, 2016 Author Member Contributer Share Posted April 11, 2016 Not good, think I will avoid. My first post on here I managed to add a pic direct from my computer into the post, can't for the life of me work out how to do it again though. Member Contributer Rectaltronics Posted April 11, 2016 Member Contributer Share Posted April 11, 2016 I'm a big fan of the Scorpio stuff but they have yet to release a plug'n'play kit for the newest VFRs. Given the sales numbers, not sure they ever will. :-(
Member Contributer Nelix Posted April 27, 2016 Author Member Contributer Share Posted April 27, 2016 Found a plug and play alarm, can anyone direct me to where the connector is on the bike? Can't see anything under battery cover except this, though I think this may be for diagnostics? A pic and location would be great if anyone has one.
