Minimum Amount Of Sensors Needed To Allow Engine To Run? (1999)

OK fella's, I have a custom project I have been working on for quite some time, and I'm using a 99 VFR 800 power plant. I am finally getting to the point of gettin her all wired up and test started to make sure she's running good. Here is what I would like to know from the experts:

What is the bare minimum of sensors required to allow the engine to run? In other words, just how much can I slim down and remove from the stock harness?

For the 99 VFR, I think you will need at least the IAT, MAP, TPS and ECT sensors for the FI system. There are other sensors such as bank angle that are safety devices to kill the engine in the event of an unplanned lie down. If you take a look in the back of the 98-01 service manual there is a detailed explanatory section about the PGM-FI system which explains the functions of each sensor. The FI system also has a "limp-home" setting if any of the sensors fail, which would be the same as if you deliberately disconnected them.
