wrmjones
Hi new to forum I just got a vfr800 2014 and I would love to take a bit of weight off wrists any suggestions wasn't sure if helibar are a option or something different
DriverDave
The only option is riser blocks that go under the bar mounting point. Honda makes a small one and a forum member either here or over on VFRworld made some custom ones that are about twice as thick as the Honda ones. LookingHard
wrmjones, There are also these, which appear to be very adjustable, but also appear to be expensive. http://www.convertibars.com/ In a bit I'm sure others will chime in with more options. Good luck, LookingHard

dogman
Something else to consider as I have just done this myself, I am 6ft tall and was riding with the seat in the raised position, and was starting to suffer from the weight on the wrists complaint, then it occurred to me that lowering the seat to the lower position and lowering the footpegs the same amount would have the same effect as raising the bars one inch. Since I already had some Buell stepped footpegs I have fitted them minus the hero knobs and it seems to work just fine.
