BiKenG Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 My 2012 has Traction Control, but can someone please answer this: Is TC on or off when first starting the bike? It is my belief that it always starts with TC on and the button is there to turn it off (and on again) if desired. But whatever the setting when switching off, it will always be on again when restarting. Can anyone please confirm or correct this. Although it's not actually active until you pass 5mph which is why the light stays on until you pull away. Same for the ABS. You can test it by giving it a large handful ;-) If you switch it off the dash light will stay on, so you'll always know if it's off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Currently I have no TC light and won't have time to fix that before I need to take it on a bike trip of a few thousand miles, hence needing to know how it works. Thanks again.
