Member Contributer HoganLongfellow Posted February 10, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted February 10, 2015 Whats up fellas, I decided it was time to swap out my chain and sprockets so I gave it a go, and I was surprised how smooth it went until I hit one snag...I forgot to measure the diameter of the rivet on my DID chain before I started, so I don't know if I've mushroomed the rivet enough on the master link. I've attached a pic of what they look like, they look good to me - and the other rivets on the chain are 5.7mm; both of mine are right at 5.8mm. I'm guessing they are OK, but I didn't know if it was different for a master link. Any info is greatly appreciated! I've been wearing google out for answers and can't seem to find the right one. Member Contributer expvet Posted February 10, 2015 Member Contributer Share Posted February 10, 2015 5.5 to 5.8 is the typical range for DID chains, so you should be good.
