mrgsx400e
Is there a way to put the rear seat cowl on with out having to dis assemble the back rack? Also so you could remove it quickly so you can have a passenger? I have one that has never been put on the bike, but love the look of it on.... Any thoughts? Member Contributer vfr350 Posted February 15, 2014 Member Contributer Share Posted February 15, 2014 For the cowl itself you can use quick release pins like this, but it requires you to drill out the threads. Been using them for years work great. Use to keep an allen wrench zip tied to the forks to get the frankenbolts out, pain. http://www.solomotoparts.com/Sargent-Fast-Access-Quick-Release-Pins/
mrgsx400e
I have a back rack. Looks like an old school rat trap only more beefy. Awesome for strapping gear to. Not easy to remove the main bolts. I think I would have to remove the main tabs where the bolts go through. Then some how make it quick release. I wonder if removing the back of the tabs and some how getting it to slide on and stay like the back of a TV remote? Any other things people have used?
