Crewwolfy
So, I figured out the bolt sizes needed for installation of the hardware. Yay. Now that the hardware is installed, I can attach the bags. However, when attaching said bags (Givi E360), the right bag sits on the exhaust. Anyone that uses E360 bags as side bags; I'm assuming your bags do not sit on the muffler? What's the clearance between the case and the muffler? I'd rather not melt this expensive ass piece of plastic.. -_- Thanks!
Member Contributer vfrurknee Posted August 5, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted August 5, 2013 Is your bike equiped with an aftermarket exhaust? If so, what type and is it a high mount or low mount? I run E21s for side bags but will go check with an E360.
Crewwolfy
No, just an OEM exhaust. I'm guessing something's wonky with my bike, but everything looks good. I'm guessing I can just get a 1" or 2" bracket to add some space out back, but I curious about why this is happening in the first place. Maybe they didn't have 360s in mind when constructing the setup, but that seems unlikely..
