Guest redmyst04
So I have been searching for a few weeks now for a new seat, ever since I did a long ride through South Park, CO(my butt still hurts thinking about it)I have a 2010 VFR1200f, stock seat.. Anyway, I have found 3 I thought would work. CMSEATS comes highly recommended but is the most expensive with conversion ratehttp://www.cmseats.com/page6.htmlNext up is Sargent seats, but the process is a bit more than I thought it would be. sending in my seat for foam upgrading and suchhttp://www.sargentcycle.com/Seats-Ac...ckage-Options/Third and final one is the ole faithful Corbin gunfighter & Lady saddlehttp://www.corbin.com/honda/hvfr10gl.shtmlHas anyone here had any experience with any of these seats and what are your thoughts? Member Contributer luvtoleanit Posted July 30, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted July 30, 2013 Have used Corbins in the past on various bikes. Having said that Sargent is the best option for this bike IMO, and that's where my $ will be going this fall.
Member Contributer EhViffer Posted July 30, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted July 30, 2013 Made the leap myself to a Sargent seat on my 2010 VFR1200 late last fall after being on the stock seat on a three week trip out west. The stock seat was agony! Sargent seat has been great. Have put about 10,000 km on the seat now and love it. Sargent turned my seat around in about two weeks.
