MalcolmA
Hi all. Found a great deal on a 180/55ZR17 and am hoping I can put them on instead of the suggested 170/60ZR17's that are suggested. Anyone know anything? Thanks!

Veefer800Canuck
As long as you have the original 8-spoke rear wheel on it, you're good. Your wheel should be 5.5", which fits a 180 just fine. Only the '94-'97s with the 5" wheel should not use a 180 (optimally).

Member Contributer RollinAgain Posted July 30, 2013 Member Contributer Share Posted July 30, 2013 180 is the only size I've ever run on my 3rd Gen and have never had any issues. Just do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to get some decent tires like Michelin Pilot Roads. Stay away from cheapo tires like those shitty Pirelli Diablos that Cycle Gear sells no matter how good a deal they seem. Rollin
