Member Contributer whitelightning Posted July 15, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted July 15, 2012 Hey, does anyone have a pic or idea of the hose locations on the airbox? I have a small line left over and can't figure out if it's spare or what. Here's a pic of the line in question.
VFRGeek
RTFM - see service manual, page 5-62. That hose connects the bypass control solenoid valve to the variable air intake diaphragm. Or in simpler language, that is the vacuum line up to the airbox flapper. -VFRGeek
Member Contributer cybershade69 Posted July 17, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted July 17, 2012 My throttle body is out but here is the line it connects to. The little plastic piece in the end what is what broke off my solenoid. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Member Contributer kaldek Posted July 17, 2012 Member Contributer Share Posted July 17, 2012 You need to fit that back up or you'll have a serious vacuum leak. You'll see the missing hose poking out from under the right-side of the throttle body.
