I have about 200 test miles so far with these forks, I was told they had 7k miles on them. I haven't pushed it yet and I just installed a re sprung re valved 929 in the rear. Aside from setting sag and having the proper weight springs what else should be considered when setting these forks up on a VFR?

Did you compare the stock fork lenght to the R1's, I know on my modified 4th gen, that has GSXR forks, there's a lot more wt. on the front tire. My front tire was down to the wear marks in less than 1000mi and the rear looks new.

If 21 3/4" is approx. stock I'm lower by 1/2" or about 12mm with tapered head bearings installed. I also put a 3mm spacer at the rear to get a little more rake.
