i just gut a new bike for me , A DCT version , it has 1700 miles on it.

so i am planing to change filters , FD oil and so on

the best oil i can find over here is 10-40W Valvoline full synthetic 4T oil , no other synthetic oil here, only genuine normal honda oil.

any one tried the 10-40W valvoline Full Syn oil on the DCT ?

I think Honda also has fully synthetic cost about $16 per quart but I haven't tried it yet. I used Mutol syn (7100) 10w40 and it works well so far. I will try Mobil 1 4T syn on my next oil change.

I only use Motul 7100 on my bike (i.m.o. worth every €-cent). Because my bike is still under warranty, I keep an eye on what Honda wants.

Honda is one of the few manufacturers who recommands a viscosity of 10W-30 (4-stroke oil - API class. SG or higher). Most other bikes (Suzuki etc) use 10W-40. I also found out 10W-30 is more difficult to find (only Honda want it...).

I don't know how much you pay in Egypt, but check out Ebay. Some might send the correct oil you want to your country. Full synthetic 4 stroke is not cheap...but that's the price you have to pay to keep an 173 HP engine healthy....
