However, I'm too much of a cheap bastage to pay that kind of coin, so a buddy and I made our own. I think if you factor in two people's time and all your materials your in the same ballpark as the Trax luggage actually Side panniers and racks were about $1000 CDN. Top case and bracket add about another $450 CDN. Although I must admit there's nothing quite like making your own stuff - sweat equity in your bike. Nice work! Not trying to hijack...really. JoeQ Posted October 1, 2011 Share Posted October 1, 2011 It happened again... Little scuff on the plastic corner piece of the bag, NO damage to the bike. When I watched it starting to go I was hoping my buddies truck would catch it. Been 4 months now and I still can't figure that kickstand out. Mikeodial, any pictures of your setup? Buy a vstrom if you want square bags. I have Givi's G35's and they are just tolerable. Sometimes I wish I had poped for the color matched factory hard bags.
