Heated grips recomendations

I started shopping for a set last month. After talking to Honda in Winston Salem, went down there. They had their clearance crap table out and there was a set of heated grips on there. They were the same as the $70 set I was there to get. The sales guy said their mechanic had tried to put them on a bike but they didn't work right. He said the switch was bad. Let the negotiations begin. After reminding him he just told me they were busted, and knowing if he had a problem with them any vendor would have replaced them, I got them for $20. Drag Specialties slip ons. It didn't take long to confirm they didn't work right, all on with no heat control. It took a while of tracking back but all it was was a reversed lead going to the control switch. Red was going to black and black to red. Rebuild the plug and we are good to go. They are awesome, and I ride in cold weather. I have a good pair of winter gloves but the combination can't be beat.

Get some.
