Member Contributer johnmark101 Posted March 12, 2008 Member Contributer Share Posted March 12, 2008 Interesting.......but the rear tire with three different compounds in five sections sounds like a bit of overkill. My 2007 CBR 600RR came with the BTO15's and the feel and feedback from that tire was the best I have ever experienced. Rear tire was shot at 2200 miles however. Member Contributer grond1234 Posted September 26, 2008 Member Contributer Share Posted September 26, 2008 I have installed a set this week as they were a great price and only been out once up here to scrub them in. First impressions are good - tip over fast but hold their line really well. Have not had to push them hard as there is no real roads up here. Will be done at the Kentucky Revival next week and we'll see how they do in the mountains. Some guys I know are running the non-OEM ones at the track days I go to and they really like them. The OEM one apparently are only 2 compounds and some people at the track riding them say they seem to slip a bit at the edge.
