Air Pressure

Looks like most folks are running 36 psi front on Pilots.

I've got BT020's, and weigh about 210; if I let the front pressure down to 36 psi, the front feels like it's plowing through turns. Any of you guys with BT020's experience that?

When I bought the bike, it had BT020's on, and I didn't like them. Mind you they were OEM going on there 4th year. For me, it was the rear that slipped when pushed hard out of corners. However, they were easy to predict.(42psi)

My front was ok traction wise (36 psi), but the wear wasn't good.

My last set was BT002 and I ran them at 38/32. Best front tire I ever had on any motorcycles.

I like the Bridgestones because the are well built and when you spin them on a balancer, they don't bounce up and down. Michelins are in the same Category for spin.

I cannot remember the last time I had Michelin on a bike, but the general opinion about the traction (from local racers and a few posts I have read here) is that they are not as predictable: They stick, but when they go, they go.

I am in need of new tires again, and I might look at Pirellis.
