  1. I like Mobil 1 gold cap best, but it got too expensive, so now I use Mobil 1 grey cap. Way cheaper, and I just change the oil more often. I tried Rotella T, but didn't like that is always looked dirty, even when fresh. My tranny seems to shift the smoothest on Mobil 1 gold cap, but the silver cap is a close second. It was knotchy with the T.

  5. There are other alternatives to Race Tech gold valves. All these are suppose to work better and last longer: Ohlins Cartridges (Dan Kyle sells them) Axxion Cartridges (Traxxion Dynamics sells them) GP Cartridges (GP suspension sells them)
  6. It's interesting that this post is pinned, and it hasn't even had a ride review yet, so please, post a review.
  7. Been there, done that. Not me, but one of the other mods. Take a look see. :wheel:
  8. We sometimes have the lead rider pass the rolling road blocks, slow down until all can pass, than wick it on again. It doesn't make the cages very happy sometimes, but hey, they started it! :P
  9. Lets make sure we don't violate any copyright issues before posting it. I hope is says, feel free to distribute.
  10. Just curious Bailey. Do you always ride the pace? I like to, but find I usually ride in squid mode with my homies.
  11. The distance between A and C should be a constant, and since A/C and A/B have the same distance, rotate the triangle 120 degrees so point A on the triangle is at point C on the bike, and so on.
  12. You guys do way too much good work. How am I ever going to keep up when I get another VFR? I'm thinking Sargeant seat, Ohlins shock, and Staintune exhaust. The rest is riding history.

  16. Raise the rear to increase the ground clearance you just lost by raising the forks in the clamps. The VFR is way stable stock, and is still very stable by raising the rear/raising the forks. I did this to my 94 and had zero handling problems. It turned in much quicker, nice, but did make it squirly at under 10 mph. Not a good mod for those vertically challenged.
  17. Any ride reports yet? Are the USD forks really an improvement worth doing (better feel, more compliance)? Do the brakes stop on a dime now? Any comparison of which bikes the converted VFR feels like? Thanks.
