Member Contributer vfrrider17 Posted December 14, 2006 Member Contributer Share Posted December 14, 2006 I found this new product in one of the motorcycle magazines and then found it online. Has anyone heard or bought a camera mount from www.sportbikecam.com They look like they are a high quality camera mount and the video they should is really good. Any one? :warranty:
zRoYz
Yes I have the front tank mount bkt they make, it works very well but the smaller the video camera (less weight) the better it is & isn't to far off pen camera qual. There are 3 things I have found out you need to do with this mount in use which are; 1. always set video camera to focus infinity (if you don't it will start focusing on the screen as it starts to get dirty) 2. keep your screen clean 3. tape over mic to help filter wind noise. Member Contributer jeremy556 Posted December 14, 2006 Member Contributer Share Posted December 14, 2006 These are cool. Much lower quality than a minidv, but still way better than you are going to post online.
Member Contributer vfrrider17 Posted December 14, 2006 Author Member Contributer Share Posted December 14, 2006 zRoYz, did you have to buy the $15 risers with the camera mount?
zRoYz
zRoYz, did you have to buy the $15 risers with the camera mount? For a standand size video camera not a mini the standard height is fine but if you use a mini (best option less weight) you will prob need it depending on your instrument height. For example on a 6 gen you would need it due to peak instruments have but on my friends Blackbird standard height is fine.
