86 RC24 VFR750F Front brake modification

Due to a surgeons screw up, I've lost the ability to safely actuate the front brake with a quick response. Looking for alternatives

so I don't have to sell my bike. I can roll off the throttle to use the front brake, or if I'm at a stoplight, but cannot grab the brake in a hurry if needed.  So I've tossed around the idea of relocation, or converting to a linked setup if that's available. Just looking for any possible options/ideas.

Thumb throttle, like a snowmobile, so your fingers can be wrapped around the brake lever all the time??

Brembo does a thumb operated brake cylinder, might be worth checking out.
