We will be using the Microtel in Franklin again. No other details yet. Don't expect a lot other than good times!!

Rates have been confirmed:

Microtel Franklin, NC

$70/day weeknight

$90/day weekend

No fees.

There will be no food, tents, chairs, shirts, or beer provided. We have used this format for the fall ride for several years. It works and is a lot less effort. We still end up with beer looking for a home at the end of the weekend. Maybe we're all getting old? 

If you haven't been for a bit or don't still own a VFR, come on anyway! Its still a great group of people to hang with.

We’re gonna have to step up and try our best not to have beer left over. And most are great, not too sure about that one in the pic though. He’s a trouble maker.

Booked for Wen/Thur the 19th and 20th

 

There is a first Gen get together that weekend in Cruso NC near where the BRP and 276 intersect, I'll be there Fri/Sat.

 

Looking forward to this, I hope our Canadian friends can make it.

Five weeks out! It won't be long until we can all start looking at the weather forecast!  Tell me you don't need a ride right now.

In fact I need 3.......................ish

 

May SMR in Franklin then a first Gen GT in Cruso NC.

 

June AHMRA races in Millville NJ

 

July, Pick up my 13 year old niece in PA and drive back to Maine and stuff her with Lobster Rolls, Chowder, and local corn for the month.

 

August TBD, maybe ride out to SD, the only state in the lower 48 I have not been to.

 

Sept. Maine, maybe up to Eastport, Madawaska, Houlton etc. A proper loop is easily a 1,000 miles.
