Hi, I'm new to this Honda Specific/ V4 engine forum and I'm glad to be a part of it for some help!! Soooo... I've been doing research on aftermarket exhaust slip-on systems and been looking all over the place. I've been coming back to one company and that's 'Black Widow'. Any opinions on the brand and the type of exhausts they sell??? How they fit? Sound quality? Reliability? Reviews on them? I'm looking for a good sounding exhaust and if you have any recommendations I would really appreciate them! Hi Guys, I don't know if I have to go somewhere else to say HI, as I'm new to this forum. I have problems with my VFR since I bought it (used) 3 years ago (or four, who would count ;p). But most currently problem is about not working fuel pump (no starting noise after turn on ignition) and vfr doesn't start. Where should I start working on that problem? I had enough of mechanics as they take money and still there are problems with my bike on and on... Here photo of mine bike taken by me:

Hi everyone, I've just got my first VFR 800 5 gen., model year 2001. The bike has exhaust done by previous owner but otherwise is stock and in good condition. After the first preventive maintenance (oil,coolant, filters, brake fluid /clutch fluid, chain & sprockets, tires) what are the first steps you've taken? I am thinking about VFRness to lighten the load on charging system, new tires and helibars... Any other suggestions / good mods for vfr? Thanks in advance STcz

When I turn the ignition on, the odometer displays 188888 or something similar, then goes completely blank after the bike finishes 'starting up'. Running or not running makes no difference with it. Trip meter works, speedometer works, tachometer works. Back of the dash has no burnt connectors or wiring. What should I look at next?
