SOoo excited. Finally got the Rapid Bike Race module and harness. I'm putting it in today and will report back with some pics during progress. This post will be in extreme lay terms so those more technical and guru like may want to move on to something more stimulating.. Just arrived! Serious stuff.. cant wait to see what's inside! If there's any latest tips and tricks or hints for installation or first ride please let me know. I've already read through the 20 plus pages on the group buy and some of Yaman/Candy stuff but it's been awhile. So I'm off.

Hi there! Has anyone tried a 120/60 front tire (instead if the stock 120/70)? I ride on Metzeler Roadtec Z8 Interacts. I love the swoopy feel the rounded-profile tyres give me, however, I'd like the bike to swoop a little more quickly. My last three bikes (R6, F2, FZR 600) all had Metzeler (M3 or Racetec) 120/60 front tyres on them and cornered wonderfully. My idea is that the /60 profile will make the bike more flickable than the /70 series tyre because the shorter tyre will slightly alter the steering geometery making the front end feel lighter; thus, swooping more quicker or feeling lighter if you will. Does anyone have some words of wisdom about this subject matter? Smiles, ~e

Here is my next idea at work... Both radiators suffer from being far too close to the engine, IMO at least, and the heat the front cylinder head and exhaust gives off only really has a couple of places to go when the bike is sitting still. The right radiator at least has a fan to draw air across it. The left one, not so much. So here is the fruition of my brain at work. It's not totally complete, but it's close to what it will be. I drew my inspiration from the nice carbon fiber pieces the RC51 and Superhawks have for the radiators. Area I have to work with: After a little bit of measuring, cutting, bending, etc... Test fitment: I'm probably going to get some adhesive backed heat shield matting, kind of like what they put on firewalls and such. At least then it wouldn't soak as much heat.
