these pictures are taken at nine eagles iowa state park located near davis city, iowa. first weekend in november of this year 2011. nice hilly oak hardwood forest that recently dropped most of their leaves. lots of wood available for nice fire late into the evening and morning. full moon and very mild temperatures of mid to high thirties made for some very comfortable camping! this picture was taken mid morning all packed up and ready for the ride back home to panama, ne. via northern missouri. nice relaxed rolling hills with a even few curves added in. better riding than nebraska and nice weekend ride to boot.

That was a good trip. Don't know if the dirt and mud detour was planned. Glad we didn't have more doing the "helicopter".

I like riding in the "flint hills of kansas" , I prefer the paved roads, unlike some of the kansas adventurers. :biggrin:
