  1. I snapped the right foot peg off on the way down to Orlando yesterday. It was a cheap $13 ebay aluminum peg that gave a few more inches of leg room by losing the rubber....I have found a 6th gen peg for the left but need a peg for the right...and the name of a good massuesse for the sever cramp in my right hip and cheek from riding the last 300 miles with my right foot on the rear peg. wink.gif

my phone has email and my email address is kblack at hoshizaki dot com

I prefer another 6th gen peg to match the left that I found.

    Thanks in advance

PUT THE PHONE DOWN!!!AND STAY IN YOUR LANE!!!

  2. hey hobie1dog...

you are right about about the oil cooler.. i wrecked once and cut it out and put a 5 inch brass tube in place,, the temp hardly changed..

you may have enough room in the "7" air vents foor another head light..an oblong pair like you you had a pic off.. get them for 20 bucks or so and run 4 head lights.. as those lights you have are not very good.. (had some an a cheap rc 30 wanna be)...

or you can can some black mesh and fill in the gap arould the lights..

    in any case looks good!

    have fun! :goofy:

  3. I think I'm a bit too late for the Wilbers group discount, but how much did that full boat looking shock for your 4th gen cost you, delivered. I came acrss some money lately and I'm trying to decide whether to join in on the Wilbers or go for a Penske or Ohlins for my 4th gen, instead.

i just found a fox twin clicker.. very cool.. ride height ,adj preload and rebound adj.. look on ebay.. there is one now on a cbr900rr i think for 350 "buy it now".

  4. here a tip... get a auto matic center punch to make a dimple where you want to drill.. putt lots of greese in THE GROVE OF THE BIT!!! it will trap and hold alot of the shavings..

I would recommend using a quality cutting fluid, like Castrol Moly-Dee for example. It doesn't smell too pleasant(lots of sulfur), but it works well. It makes the drill's job easier, and extends the life of the bit. Excellent for use on steel!

the problem with cutting oil.. it will not trap the shavings.. and if you are drilling from the side or bottom it runs down ,away from the hole..if the bit gets dull take it to your pal with a drill dr. :P
